From the time of John and Charles Wesley, hymn singing has been a vital and distinctive component of our worship of God. The music ministry at Bandera Methodist Church expands this to offer many opportunities for all age groups to express their musical talents during worship services and beyond.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir sings for the 11:00 am Traditional Worship Service on Sundays. Anyone of Middle School age and older is welcome to join this choir.
Instrumentalists are also needed, as many of our choral pieces include an instrumental accompaniment which enhances the worship experience for all.
Praise Team
The Praise Team leads the music at the 8:30 am Contemporary Worship service on Sundays.
Jubilation Handbell Choir
The Jubilation Handbell Choir is a three octave choir with both handbells and MelodyChimes. Although the ability to read music is helpful, new members of all skill levels are welcome. The Bell Choir typically plays once each month at the 11:00 am Traditional Worship Service on Sundays.
Above all sing spiritually. Have an eye to God in every word you sing. Aim at pleasing him more than yourself, or any other creature.
