Our Children’s Ministry is uniquely designed for children newborn through 5th grade. We believe children are a blessing from God and we are passionate about creating an environment that is safe, age-appropriate and fun where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way allowing children to grow in their relationship with Christ.
Sunday
High Voltage BMC Kids: Join us on Sunday mornings for a fun and faith filled children’s church adventure for ages 5 – 11 years old. Hosted during our contemporary service at 8:30 am. Sign up in the Fellowship Hall @ 8:15-8:30 am.
Nursery for ages 6 weeks to 4 years is available during both Worship Services and the Small Group hour.
Midweek
Kids for Christ is a free, fun, and faith filled after school program for 1st through 5th grade students. We meet every Wednesday during the school year from 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall at BMC. We follow the Bandera ISD schedule for holidays, breaks, and weather cancellations. Some of our local elementary school children are transported by bus from school to Bandera Methodist Church (check with your local school for this option). Snacks are also provided. We are committed to providing a safe space where children can learn about Jesus Christ and Biblical principles in a new and exciting Christian environment.
Kids’ Kingdom is an exciting, dynamic preschool and ministry of the Bandera Methodist Church. We provide children, aged 3-5, a solid and fun pathway to God and academia both! Preschool basics, plus virtues, manners and the like are taught alongside the wonderful revelation that Jesus loves all the little children of the world. Each new school year, the Kids’ Kingdom preschool class starts down their familial-path towards learning life, loving Jesus, experiencing school, and living in new relationships with each other and with Jesus. Classes meet from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. If you feel moved to do so, we gratefully accept donations to our program, as we are 100% funded by annual tuitions and fundraising.
